October woes, November hope

It is distressing that things happen because people do not listen. I preach too much into deaf ears... The whole ordeal about Groundel and his foot could have been avoided if only he had listened to my common sense... and if only Raven and the doc had listened to my concerned comments... I hate the fact that people are so careless, so stupid... and then they stare at you with stupid blank eyes saying "I should have..." Well, you should have, yes... But that is not exactly what I need to hear right now... Some action, please? Some true caring, please? I don't know... Depht of feelings ain't so deep of late... I hope that Groundel has seen the true colors of the people around him, and of himself. I hope this experience makes him stronger and determinated towards doing what he should isntead of complaining about everything... I hope he learns that one does not preach out of fun... but out of concern and experience. Argh!

Finally the wedding date has been set. I expected trouble from the priest, but he surprised me by being quite positive with us. Ok, the stars were aligned correctly... And yes, it is the right church. Not too lavish, and simply meaningful. Plus, cats roam the lair...

I was upset I could not celebrate the mage's bday properly as I planned... Finances went down the drain with all our car-shocks... Now its a matter of structurizing everything to do what we must, pay the bills and have enough for a decent meal... Luxuries are off for now, until goals are achieved.

I'm very happy with how things work between Anthony and me. Chemistry and mind, all in one. Lovely. It is so different when someone is actually into you... and really wants to be part of everything you do... and actually cares so much about you... and shows you love in everything said, thought and made. So I guess I must have done something good... to deserve this bliss... Anyway... We'll make our own ending... A lovely one.
